Delhi gets new chief minister.
On February 14, Arvind Kejriwal swore in as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung administered the oath of office and secrecy at Ramlila Ground, Delhi. The portfolios of the various ministers in the state cabinet are as follows:
- Arvind Kejriwal : Home, Power and Finance.
- Manish Sisodia : Education, Public Works Department, and Urban Development
- Satyendar Jain - Health, and Industry
- Gopal Rai - Transport, and Labour portfolios
- Sandeep Kumar - Women and Child Welfare, and SC and ST Welfare
- Jitender Singh Tomar - Law
- Asim Ahmed Khan - Food and Civil Supplies, and Minority Affairs
